The UWOO Y1 kit includes the device, a manual, a Quality Control card, a warranty card, the USB cable, the cleaning brush, and the cleaning spoon. Most HnB devices come fully charged or close to fully charged, but our UWOO Y1 arrived with less than 25% charge remaining. To charge the device, just connect the USB cable to the USB port and a power source. The LED indicator lights will flash while charging. The lights show the level of charge with 4 lights meaning that there is 75%+ charge remaining, 3 lights means 75%-50% remaining, 2 lights means 50%-25% remaining, and only 1 light lit means that there is 25% or less charge remaining. Charging will take 3 hours.
Once your device is charged, it has ready to use! The first thing you will want to do is set the desired temperature. To do so, press the control button 4 times in rap succession. There are 4 temperature settings, as indicated by the LED lights. Our test users recommend staying on the highest setting, which correlates to the top LED light, since the highest temperature the device reaches (by our testing) is 180C.
Now, load your HeatStick then press and hold the control button until the device vibrates and the LED indicator lights will begin turning on, one-by-one, as the device heats. The heating process takes approximately 16 seconds. When the device is at the proper temperature, all the lights will be lit and the device will vibrate again. One cycle with UWOO Y1 will last approximately 5 minutes or 12 puffs. Since this is a multi-use device, you can use it right after finishing a cycle, however the manufacturer does recommend waiting 5 minutes between uses. If ever you need to stop a cycle, just press and hold the control button until the device vibrates and the LED indicator lights turn off.
UWOO recommends that you clean your device after every 10-15 cycles. This isnot unreasonable since the device is equipped with a self-cleaning feature. It is such a simple process, just press the control button 7 times in rap succession. If done correctly, the device will vibrate and the LED indicator lights will flash until the cleaning process is complete, at which point, they will turn off. In total, the self-cleaning process takes about 1 minutes, 26 seconds.
